Suggested Directions: Always read packaging and enclosed leaflet before use. If the person taking this medicine has any medical conditions or is taking other medication consult your pharmacist or doctor before use.
- Shake bottle well before use.
- Apply to affected area with cotton wool and allow to dry.
- Apply as often as required. External use only.
Ingredients: Calamine 15% w/v, Zinc Oxide 5% w/v. Also contains Bentonite, Sodium Citrate, Liquefied Phenol, Glycerol and Purified Water.
What else to know: Calamine Lotion is contraindicated in patients with a known sensitivity to its ingredients. Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction Zinc oxide is incompatible with benzylpenicillin. Zinc oxide reacts slowly with fatty acid in oils and fats to produce the corresponding fatty acid esters.
